On the eve of Janmashtami, Matoshri Academy celebrated the birth of Sri Krishna with great
enthusiasm , according to the school Principal Mrs. Supriya Yardi mam here on Friday .
Students celebrated the birth of Lord Krishna with great enthusiasm. Colour was brought to
the occasion with students dressed in fancy clothes resembling mythological characters, song
and dance added to the religious fervour of the auspicious day.
Mr. Tanaji Gade said that all the children came dressed up like Radha and Krishna to
participated in this programme like dance, bhajans, speech and songs. Senior boys formed a
human pyramid to broken dahihandi with great delight by the students. The programme came on
an end distribute of janmashtami Prasad.
